Prior to joining Ashton Mitchell, Ben advanced his career in several practices in New Zealand and Australia, working from concept to completion on a wide range of projects from bespoke interior fit-outs to commercial supermarket developments. Having lead project teams in the delivery stages for the last few years Ben has branched into a design focused role, now sharing the Design Lead responsibilities within the office.
He is passionate about social housing and the ability of architecture to enrich the lives of people, having spent time volunteering with Habitat for Humanity in Costa Rica and building houses in East Africa.
