Ashton Mitchell are excited to announce the promotion of one of our key staff members, Daniel van de Wydeven, to Associate. The appointment comes as Ashton Mitchell looks to recognise and nurture talent within the office while also expanding its senior leadership team as the practice grows.

Dan joined Ashton Mitchell in 2016 after experiences in Australia and the United Kingdom and has been an integral part of our documentation and delivery team on several large multi-residential projects. Most recently, he has led the team working on the Fabric apartments in Onehunga and is currently guiding this through the construction process with Stage 1 due for completion later this year. Dan’s portfolio includes Fabric Apartments, Great North Road Development and Miro Apartments.

Dan values a collaborative approach to architecture and strongly believes it is an essential foundation to achieve project goals. He enjoys the challenge and breadth of view required in large mixed-use projects, as well as the finer details in smaller scale work.
