The Ashton Mitchell team was proud to take part in this year’s Round the Bays Auckland, joining 30,000 participants for the iconic 8.4km fun run along Auckland’s eastern bays.
Eight staff members laced up their shoes, with partners and families also joining in to enjoy the scenic route, live music, and vibrant atmosphere.
The event provided a fantastic opportunity to step away from the office, enjoy some fresh air while being active, and connect with colleagues and family. Bevin took home the quickest time, but with finishing times spread across the board, the focus was firmly on fun and team spirit.
Following the run, the Ashton Mitchell team gathered for well-earned drinks, food, and some friendly banter. It was a great chance to catch up with each other — and with partners and families — in a relaxed setting. A few fun spot prizes were handed out, capping off an enjoyable day for all involved.
Looking ahead, Cliff and Ben have already promised to raise the bar for next year’s event, including volunteering to man the BBQ to fuel the team’s efforts post-race.
